Successful Commissioning of Φ219-Φ530x16mm Pipe Making Mill

The straight seam high frequency welded pipe mill with diameter of Φ219-Φ530x16mm designed and manufactured by us for Russian Cerne Steel Pipe Company was successfully commissioned in December 2013, and a total of 500,000 tons of steel pipes have been produced. Our new technology has been applied to the new mill, which is flexible and fully automatic. It is not necessary to replace the rollers in the initial forming section, only the parameters such as pipe diameter, thickness and material need to be input on the computer, and the rollers can reach the position and start production directly. Quick roller change technology is applied to the precision forming and sizing section. The application of these two new technologies began to shorten the replacement time to 1-2 hours. The mill is equipped with API standard chamfering machine newly developed by us to ensure that it can really meet API requirements. The mill is equipped with 60MPa large gap sealed high pressure hydrostatic testing machine.
