Introduction
There are two production technologies for large diameter straight seam submerged arc welded pipe mill: 1. JCOE; 2. RBE
Advantage of JCOE production technology: It can produce steel pipes with a thickness of more than 30mm, which is suitable for the production of extra-thick steel pipes; Disadvantage: Low production efficiency (10 pieces/hour) and large investment. Usually, it is used in the production of straight seam submerged arc welded pipe with diameter range of Φ508-Φ1422mm, wall thickness of 8-40mm and length of 10-12.5m; Advantage of RBE production process: High production efficiency (15 pieces/hour) and small investment; Disadvantage: The wall thickness does not exceed 30mm. Usually, it is used in the production of straight seam submerged arc welded pipe with diameter range of Φ508-Φ1422mm, wall thickness of 6-30mm and length of 10-12.5m.
Production technology of JCOE mill: Ultrasonic flaw detector for steel plate → Edge milling machine for steel plat→ Pre-bending machine → JCO pipe forming machine → Pre-welding device → Steel pipe internal welding device → Steel pipe external welding device → Weld ultrasonic flaw detector → Steel pipe weld (X-ray) flaw detector → Steel pipe full pipe expanding machine → Steel pipe hydrostatic testing machine → Steel pipe pressure straightening machine → Steel pipe rounding machine → Steel pipe end internal and external weld flattening machine → Steel pipe flat head chamfering machine → Steel pipe ultrasonic phased array detection device → Steel pipe weld × X-ray detection device → Pipe end × light shooting → Weighing and measuring length → Steel pipe inner and outer wall spraying labels → Leaving the factory.
